I didn't know what a kolache was until a co-worker brought them to work one day. That was YEARS ago. He bought them from Kolache Station in Plano. Not only they have kolaches, they have cinnamon rolls, pig in a blankets, too. They have the best kolache in town.
They're very fattening as well. I gained so much weight just eating their so-called lower calorie alternative to donuts. Carb is carb is carb. If you're one of the lucky few who have great metabolism, go for it! It's worth the drive over there to get their kolaches. I like the fruit ones the best.
Too bad they don't open all day, they're open in the morning only.
