Businiess name:  Borders Books, Music & Cafe

Review content:
I do love Barnes and Noble, but sometimes it's nice to know other bookstores do exist! Borders at Kips Bay has a large magazine selection towards the back on the first floor. It's not as large as the one at Barnes and Noble at Union Square, but it's still a good bet. There are some fun gifts/gadgets/trinkets at the front of the store, and it has a bit more of a funky feel than Barnes and Noble. There is also a cafe on the first floor. This branch is also less claustrophobic feeling than the Borders on Park and 57th which has too many floors and feels too crowded. The layout of the Kips Bay store is on 2 floors, very open, very manageable, good place to spend some time leafing through books. If you need a break from Barnes and Noble, check out Borders!
