This woman is very intelligent. She specializes both in pediatrics and dermatology, so she has a very diverse crowd in her clinic on Milwaukee Ave. I went to her with my acne problems and she was the first derm that truly made a difference without being terribly pretentious. She loaded me up with free samples and discounted medicines and gave me a regimen that truly made a difference. She was attentive and listened to what results I wanted to achieve - and her plan of attack was something that I really appreciated - and most of all - it really worked. My only negative experience with her has been a bad bout with antibiotics. I was on antibiotics for about two months and I got a very bad reaction from such prolonged exposure. I went to another doctor and she seemed appalled that another doctor would permit such a treatment. This was the only lapse in judgment I've had with her. The side effect I experienced was common too, but I suppose she should have known better for someone my age. Her clinic offers microdermabrasion as well, which I had done with great results. Last time I went it was approximately $100 a session. Despite the aforementioned bad experience, I would probably go back if I needed to. I still have prescription that I refill from her that have been doing their job. Since then my skin has improved to the point that I do not need to use that much product to treat and keep up (knocks on wood). Overall - I would highly recommend her. She has a motherly charm to her that will make you want to do everything she says all the while respecting her honesty. She will not pressure you like other derms to use her line of cleansers, etc. She was the first derm to introduce me to simple OTC products I could use to help me out which were no frills an very basic such as regular anti-bacterial body wash and Cetaphil. For this I will always respect her. A very lovely and very helpful lady who you can tell is dedicated to her job.
