Review content:
I have had two homes with hardwood floors, and Phillip's Floors has refinished and stained them both times. It's always breathtaking when you see them all shined up for the first time. They really do a nice job, and the prices are reasonable (cheaper than putting carpet in). With the humidity in Iowa, don't be surprised if it takes longer than their estimated finish date ... they sand and put the first coat of varnish on the first day. Then they have to wait for it to dry before they can put another coat on for a total of 3 coats. It takes quite a while to dry (2 days in my experience) with the Iowa humidity. I'd plan on a week. It's totally worth the expense!
