Businiess name:  Groundwork Coffee Co
Review by:  Jessica L.
Review content:
I had been dividing my coffee cravings between the burnt stuff at Starbucks and the so-so stuff at Coffee Beanery, until I discovered that Groundworks had a place in the LA artist's district near Little Tokyo. Oh joy of joys! As soon as I found out I marched over there to have a lovely latte and a vegan brownie. They have a large selection of sandwiches (though I have yet to have one) and baked goods (vegan brownies!), and their coffee actually tastes like coffee! It's smooth and rich and delicious. I love the ambiance in this place, it has wood all over and plenty of indoor and sidewalk tables. The staff is friendly and they know how to ice my 1/2 decaf. Word to the wise- parking is a pain, but well worth the effort if you've been living on Starbucks for goodness knows how long. If you're just popping in to pick up something to go, I usually just park in front with the hazards on.
