Review content:
I'm a sushi snob from NYC and I'm shocked to report that the best sushi I've found in LA to date is in a run-down strip mall on the second floor.
Folks in LA I talk to are not shocked--the best food in LA is found in run down strip malls from what I've been told!
This is sushi only... no soup, no salad, no tempura.
It's Tokyo style which means the rice is warm and filled with flavor.
You get once piece at a time... even at a table. That's the way sushi should be served--so the temperature is correct. Anyone who orders a sushi deluxe is an idiot because the 15 pieces site for 10 minutes while it's being made and when it comes to your table with three others sushi deluxe plates you might as well have bought your meal at the Whole Foods sushi counter.
Amazing, amazing sushi...
