i knew this place was good when hubby, who hasn't eaten meat in almost 20 years, sent me there. A & J Meats is simply the best place to buy meat, whether it's a pre-marinated steak for the grill or sliced roast turkey. they don't use preservatives, the food is fresh, the people who work there know all about the meats they sell, and the prices are very fair.
my only gripe with them, if you can call it that, is that they rarely have cooked corned beef. they had it once and it was the best corned beef i'd had since moving here from nyc, so that was a big tease!
they have a bunch of recipes printed up and are always willing to discuss the best ways to cook certain meats. just an all-around great place.
