Review content:
Not only is the food below average - dry, tasteless fries, overdone grilled cheese (who knew it was possible to over grill cheese?) but the owner made me boycott the restaurant. I've always found the wait staff a bit sullen, but on my final visit, I witnessed a waiter being so badly belittled by the restaurant manager that I was shocked he didn't quit on the spot. He was being yelled at, in front of everyone on the street, because the manager felt he wasn't clearing a table quickly enough. After the manager left, I asked the waiter if she always treated the waiters like that and whether I could perhaps say something to the restaurant owner. I was told she was the owner, and it was a family-run business, so nothing I could do. Therefore, I decided never to return.
