Businiess name:  Lawry's The Prime Rib
Review by:  Stacy C.
Review content:
Lawry's on Los Angeles' Restaurant Row (La Cienega Blvd. from Wilshire Blvd. to Santa Monica Blvd.) executes its plan perfectly, every time. They serve prime rib out of great-looking stainless-steel rolling carts with servers slicing your cut to order. They give you choices of different sizes for any appetite, different degrees of doneness, with or without bone. Make no mistake--this is PRIME rib, not choice or anything else. The meat is incredibly flavorful, juicy and tender. Yum! They are also famous for spinning your Caesar salad at your table, which is entertaining and the salad is delicious. The piece-de-resistence is the "Yorkshire Pudding," which is a type of bread, like a large popover, which they serve fresh and hot to each individual. Does not need butter, it is so delicious it is just perfect as served. Don't be shy about asking for more, they are happy to oblige. Side dishes of spinach, mushroom caps, corn, etc. are huge and delicious. The portions are so large, I have never gotten to the desserts, but they sure look good. Reservations necessary--the place is huge, but crowded. Excellent, friendly service, too.
