Review content:
We had dinner for 30 at Typhoon today. They gave us a separate area behind the bar - nicely secluded and well organized. They served us buffett style, which made things much easier for everyone. The food was top notch - tasty and fresh - although it was standard thai (e.g. nothing particularly special.) The service was good, although it started off a little slow (they didn't start cooking until the bulk of the people showed up.) Overall, we were very happy. It was a nice change from the pre-board meeting seafood or steak dinner. We had three tables of 10 so the conversation was reasonably intimate (vs. one giant table where you can't really talk to anyone other than the people directly next to you.)
