I took my husband to Cafe Intermezzo on one of our very first dates together, and we still drive to Atlanta to eat dessert there on special occasions. Intermezzo is casual but fancy, like a lot of Southern restaurants, and they have an amazing bar, complete with bizarre selections like chocolate beer from England. They also have a great coffee bar - try the Cafe Intermezzo, it has Nutella in it! Mmmm.
Best of all, they have a jaw-dropping selection of mouthwatering desserts. Don't go here if you're looking for something diet friendly, because you won't find it. But if you want to pamper yourself with some of the best cheesecake in the region, you simply must go here. It's romantic, it's fun, the service is great, and the hours are long.
