I usually go to Quickly in the summers when it gets really hot because I can get a refreshing cold drink for about $1. They have a daily special where tapioca milk tea is 98 cents plus tax, as well as a different slush (it changes throughout the year: sometimes it's mango, other times strawberry or passionfruit or green apple). I like to get the boba with the small boba pearls. The quality is okay. Usually, the milk tea is too milky and there's not enough tea, and the slushies are basically ice and syrup. But for the price, you can't beat it. Their fried chicken snack is good, but I've had better at places like Tapioca Express.
