Businiess name:  Top of the Hill Restaurant & Brewery
Review by:  Kristin W.
Review content:
Top of the Hill is a so much more than it has to be. Located in the heart of Franklin Street, Top of the Hill could settle for the standard pub fare and brewery beers. Instead, they kick it up a notch and produce really good food and brew some unique beers. Top of the Hill was one of the first places to experiment with higher alcohol content beers when the new law took effect in 2005. The crab dip appetizer is great, and my husband enjoys the thumbs and toes chicken appetizer. The calamari is average. The fried chicken is good but it is breasts - not on the bone. The mashed potatoes are amazing. They have a great chocolate dessert, if you have room left!! The outdoor dining has a great view of Franklin Street and comes complete with heaters or fans, depending on the weather. A nice spot for happy hour, a romantic dinner, or out-of-town guests.
