I have had MUCH better filet's at Jesse's in Brandon, and the Ranch House on Gandy. I am a HUGE fillet lover...that's just about the only thing I will order at any restaurant...but was NOT real impressed for the cost of my fillet, coke, and 3 asparagus tips I got. My meal totaled over $100 alone! The fillet was on the small side and honestly, I couldn't say it was over the top delicious! There are only 2 "real fancy" steakhouses here in Tampa. Ruth's Chris and Burns. I have not eaten at Burns, but was not impressed with R.C. For the cost, you can get a much better steak (and sides and drinks) elsewhere. If you REALLY must impress a date (which is sad in the first place), I guess going here wouldn't be bad. But I wouldn't go back. My mom and 2 other sisters went also and were not impressed. It was mothers day. Out of the 4 of us, all 4 said we won't be back. We spent $600 for the 4 of us to eat, and were all starving when we left and had to stop at McDonald's!
