Businiess name:  Claiborne West Park
Review by:  Linda H.
Review content:
Claiborne West Park is a large park (more than 450 acres) between Vidor and Orange off IH-10. There are lots of recreational areas in the park; there are softball fields, tennis courts, large playgrounds, walking trails, bike trails, and a frisbee golf course. There's a pond with fish and ducks, and Cow Bayou wanders through the park. Visitors can walk across the bayou on a bridge into wooded areas. There are several shelters that can be reserved; some have restrooms, grills and picnic tables and are covered. There's also an amphitheater by the pond that has a stage and seating for concerts and weddings. There are lots of birds and other wildlife in the park, and camping is permitted.
