Quality produce in season, fresh mozzarella and ricotta, house brand batteries, portabella mushrooms -- they are all here and well priced. Sometimes the amount you have to buy is appropriate only for a very large family or a business, but much of the time it isn't. Don't overlook the optical department, which got a good review for quality glasses at low prices from Consumer Reports. Park at the far end of the parking lot instead of hunting for a spot nearby -- it's not that long a walk. On weekend mornings, you can make a meal of the free samples.
