Review content:
Benevolence is an unassuming vegetarian café near the North Market (where they have a bakery shop). The food and decor are both simple. They specialize in delicious breads and soups made from scratch with mostly organic ingredients. Dinners are served with a choice of soup or salad (the salads are also excellent). Most of the seats are wood benches which enhance the casual, earthy atmosphere. They promote earth-friendly living with no plastic silverware or dish ware. Even the to-go containers are glass. There is also an interesting variety of literature available.
