Businiess name:  Oakland Tv Center
Review by:  Jeff R.
Review content:
If you need home electronics (think home theatre, satellite TV, full system integration, etc.), the mega chain stores are always there to take your money. Of course, you're on your own when it comes to service or even figuring out how the whole thing works. Enter Oakland TV. This little store out in Oakland houses much greater capability than the store presents. Jon (the owner) doesn't carry a big inventory, but that keeps his costs down and allows him to tailor solutions for his customers. What does a megastore offer that Oakland TV doesn't? A big inventory (which equates to higher prices), so you can take your new system home today. You'll of course be responsible for getting it up and running, so if you're inclined to know how to do that with top-tier systems (it's not trivial) and you require instant gratification for your expensive purchase, this might be the route for you. However, if you're not inclined to know everything there is to know in order to get the most out of your new system, you may need some assistance. This is where Oakland TV excels, and the value of purchasing your systems through them + service after the sale beats the megastores every time. You don't even have to make the trip from Omaha, just call Jon and he'll come to you.
