Review content:
I'm a pretty big eater and I like to try out new places. After hearing a friend's of mine praised about Salumi (located on 3rd ave in Pioneer Square) the sandwhiches at this place and how they make their own cured meat, I was curious. I tried to go there for the past few times but every time I've failed. Finally, today, I made it. We go there to avoid the line by 11:40, apparently we should be there by 11am! The line was inside out! We waited for half an hour and finally got to order. The original plan was to eat there, but they only had 4 tables and can only seat 10-15 people. Anyhow, I ordered the Grilled Lamb sandwhich. The place is cute and feels very New York Delish. But the half an hour wait and was not worth the grilled lamb sandwhich. It was good, but not great! I was expecting greatness! I guess that's what happens when someone hypes up something. The next time I go I will definitely call ahead and preorder (you don't have to wait in line if you phoned in earlier!). If you really want to try the place, I suggest you get there by 11am, call in before or go after the lunch rush. Oh yeah, they're closed on Mondays.
