Review content:
I needed a new dentist closer to home and just had a very good appointment with Dr. Gray at Roosevelt Dental on 65th near the Whole Foods. I've lived nearby for quite some time, and I'd never noticed there was a dental clinic tucked away up next to Caruh (a dayspa). A hidden gem! Everyone was great, from the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist. The office is bright and cheery and everything looks clean and new (my former dentist was in a terribly out-dated downtown space, so the comparison was stark). I've always been skeptical of dentists since they make money by doing things to you, and I have to say, I had no qualms here. There was no "hard sell" for any product or service. I even asked about whitening and was given pricing information and a frank discussion of possible results, again, with no push to do it at all. I got a comprehensive print-out of the costs associated with all rendered and possible future services that had been customized to my insurance plan, so I can see exactly how much I will be responsible for after insurance covers its share. I'm all for pricing transparency in health care, so this impressed me. Plus, I can see how much I need to save up if I do opt for the whitening! :-) If you're in this part of town and need a dentist, check out Roosevelt Dental Clinic.
