Review content:
Toys R Us gives you what the name implies...lots of toys. Truthfully I feel that over the years Toys R Us seems to be carrying less and less variety. It seems that they used to offer a great variety. For example, they used to have more depth in each category although maybe not as many categories. A big section of the store is devoted to video and while this is nice I think the area would be better served stocking other items. The music selection for children is not at all impressive. In the past, Toys R Us was the place to go if you wanted something different than what you could find at the local department stores. Now it seems they just carry the same stuff you can find other places. The baby department does offer more selection than local department stores but is still rather limited. i have been successful at finding help in the store and the store seems well staffed every time I visit although there is often a lack of staff at the checkout lanes. Overall I am less than impressed when shopping at Toys R Us and usually end up leaving to find something somewhere else.
