Review content:
I brought my 2002 Olds Alero in for service this past Monday 11/7/16. I choose Performance Tire and Auto b/c I had bought my tires and the extended warranty from them back in 2011. I had requested to have my tires rotated, balanced if necessary, front end alignment, if necessary, along w/ mentioned that I thought my front drivers side CV boot might be going bad b/c of 'clunking' noise I heard when backing up and turning the steering wheel. I also requested to have an oil change done. After inspecting my car, the repair man came and talked to me in the waiting room. He told me that the tires did need to be rotated, but he saw no need for them to be balanced, nor for a front end alignment. He also said that the CV boots all look fine. He did mention that I have a lot of rust on one of my rotors, but it is nothing to worry about and the car is completely safe. He went on to say that my car is in really good shape, under the hood, and has VERY low mileage. The rust problem on my rotor is b/c I simply do not drive the car enough. I am permanently disabled so I really don't drive very often. Now, the repair man COULD HAVE easily told me that all the problems I mentioned needed to be fixed, but he didn't. I SO VERY MUCH appreciate that! This type of situation always brings worry and fear to me being a single woman that doesn't know much about cars. So, I walked out of the 'shop' only owing around $30 for the oil change, which was a HUGE relief to me. I will MOST DEFINITELY continue getting my car repairs done at Performance Tire and Auto along w/ refer my family and friends to Performance Tire and Auto! The fact that I was treated fairly and honestly is a HUGE 'selling point' in my book! Thank you SO VERY MUCH for the HONEST service!
