Review content:
My family and I had house repairs for 6 weeks that made it impossible to live in our home. We stayed in several hotels until the last week when we were so cramped and tired of eating pre-fab breakfasts, we left our town (near Everett) and came to the Sands. Wow! It was like home away from home with full bedrooms and a living room and a real kitchen! We could cook our own meals again: REAL FOOD, a dining table, a couch...all within walking distance to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only drawback was no cable tv but we rented a dvd player and converter from a local merchant and enjoyed movies--and of course the local channels. The rocky mountain motif was warm and clean. BTW: we'd had reservations at the Casino, and while it was beautiful, the windows had broken seals so there was condensation between the panes making it hard to see the ocean, the pool was shallow and a murky green...it was NOT a family-type place (Great if you want to gamble, drink, and glam it up).
