Shame on this clinic. We brought my disabled daughters Yorkie in as I saw she was lethargic and had gastric distress. Vet came in and told us her stool test for Parvo was negative, her fever 103.5 and she was dehydrated (8 mos old). I asked if they wanted to keep her to hydrate and observe. He assured me that wasn't necessary. He gave her a shot to keep her from vomiting, some fluid under skin for dehydration and advised us to take her home and bring her back if she began vomiting.
Unfortunately, she was dead in 3 hours, with my daughter sick with grief.
She would not have started throwing up again since he medicated her not to AND she was sent home. Shameful! I'm an RN and thought that was pitiful care. My daughters heart is broken. We will not be back there!
