Review content:
I saw one of Guitar Wolf's last shows at Chop Suey. It was a cold night but it was way too hot and crowded inside - being pushed up against dozens of sweaty bodies before the bands have really begun is not much fun. I haven't spent much time in 21+ venues, so maybe this is just my inexperience talking, but I really wished that people would stop spilling their beer. Partway through the show someone knocked down the fire extinguisher or something and a putrid smell made its way through the room. People cleared out and the band (bless their hearts) just kept playing, but I didn't hear for maybe ten minutes what had happened, and the staff didn't seem all that concerned or eager to find out what was going on either.
