For the people that want to book anything through \r

you have to know that he will be there to answer your questions if he is collecting money from you and that is about it. We wanted to book a trip for 80 people through and we were able to do that but after he got our money, he was extremely difficult to contact via email and or phone. I had to stop calling him on his cellphone number that he had given us and actually look up his office number to contact them eventhough he had stated that he can always be accessible through his cell phone. Leaving Voicemails is of no use because he would never ever answer it. \r
He stated he would have a booked a lot of weddings and he will have hook ups for you trying to make you purchase through him and when the time comes, you'll end up in the resort with none of the comps that he says he was able to get you. Of course, good luck trying to contact about the problems via email or phone because HE WILL NEVER PICK UP and HE WILL NEVER BE IN HIS OFFICE. \r
I had numerous amounts of my guests for my wedding be without transportation from the airport to the hotel because he never put them on the list to be picked up. When we brought this to him, he said that he will personally take money out of his account and refund us the money. 5 months after that conversation, we emailed him numerous times, and still no response from him. Of course, why would he email us back? He never emails unless he's COLLECTING money. We only went through him because he had already collected our money from us and we had booked the venue already. I would say the resort is nice, but there are many other agents out there that can do better than what he has done for us. \r
He also has left some of our guests at the front of the lobby of the hotel without anyone picking them up to go to the airport. The guests had to pay a taxi just to the airport even though they paid JAY ISLAM for the transportation already. Again, he said he would refund that portion to them but it still has not been mailed to them and after they contacted him, he did not respond to them. They still have not gotten their refund and Jay Islam still has not contacted them. \r
We had 80 guests go through Jay Islam and all 80 of them contacted me about booking because he was never in the office and never answering his emails. \r
Jay promised us club premium bracelets for some of our guests and we did not get it and when I tried to contact him about it, he was out of the country. \r

HE WILL ALWAYS TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN CONTACT HIM THROUGH EMAIL AND HE WILL ALWAYS EMAIL YOU BACK WHEN YOU ARE AT THE RESORT BUT THAT WAS A LIE. \r

He will book your Flight, Transportation, and Hotel. Rest assure, one of them will be messed up. \r

We are still waiting for our refund and honestly don't think we will ever get it. \r
\r
I will never recommend anyone to go through Jay Islam from Grand Travel and Cruise or anyone from that company to book anything.
