Review content:
I was a loyal customer of Seaview Optical for many years. I always recommended it to everyone who asked. Richard's prices and services were always top notch. And his staff was excellent. I wasn't happy when he sold the business but, as a business owner myself, I felt like I needed to give the new owners a try. Long story short, I am no longer a customer of Seaview. I went to the store and was just ignored when I entered. I was not greeted with a ""May we help you?"" Everyone managed to look very busy doing nothing. Eventually, I was helped and ordered lenses. Unfortunately, they didn't come in time so I had to wait until I was back in town. Then they misplaced the lenses. After they were located, they inserted them. When I asked if the ""fishing line"" that held the one lens was protruding too much, they just ignored my question. I felt that I was treated like a number for their bottom line, not a valued customer. I left the store feeling very sad that now I would have to find a new optical store after all these years of such wonderful care. It is unfortunate that I can no longer recommend Seaview Optical.
