Businiess name:  UPS Store

I had a terrible experience with UPS and the Renton Highlands UPS store. Not only did they not the perform the service, but the worst part was how they handled the customer service afterwards. On March 10th, 2015 I used the UPS store to send a package (containing original art) to my friend in Massachusetts. I chose the option where he had to sign for it. The store employee, Breeana, told me that if he wasn't there to sign for it after 3 times they would hold it at the local UPS faculty so he could pick it up. There was no mention of it ever being returned to WA state. They tried the three times to no avail and after learning that they could try again my friend scheduled one more time for them to deliver it. They could only give a window of time for them to be there, and they happened to miss him again. We found out they were returning the package to sender, back to Washington! I called UPS customer service and they told me that they had in fact violated their own policy. After the failed attempts, they should have kept it in their facility for five business days for my friend to pick up but they only kept it for one. They said I had to go back into the UPS store to get a refund. Once there a UPS store manager named Tony said he would file a claim and call within 48 hours. He never called. 4 days later I went back into the store to pick up the returned package (which I sent with another company with no problems.) Tony and another manager Kuppa told me UPS said they did nothing wrong, no refund. I called back UPS customer service and a manager named Craig again confirmed it was improperly returned to sender. He said the appropriate person would call me the next day and promised to call me to follow up no matter what the following night. I received a brief voicemail from a woman who only identified herself as UPS, and said no refund would be coming, they did their job. Craig never called me back as promised. One gigantic runaround.
