My family has been to dozens of museums all over the country so we have a lot to compare from. OMSI is big but it doesn't seem overwhelming. We are from California where many of the museums are super crowded, expensive and not vey family friendly. OMSI has something for everyone and the exhibits are geared to appeal to a wide range of ages, interest, attention span and mood. This is our 5th visit in the last 10 years and each visit we remain impressed. Great exhibits, super gift shop, lots of bathrooms everywhere!, a special kids room for toddlers, a lunch area for school groups and a cafeteria with food for the junk food junkie or the health nut in every family. For an extra fee you can also tour a submarine or see an IMAX movie or..... It's also located near public transit. Don't miss it!
