Review content:
I went to Les Schwab to have my brakes inspected as they were squeaking and squealing everytime I tried to stop. The brake inspection itself was free, which is a nice service, but when they came to tell me what the problem was, they had about 20 OTHER things, besides my brakes that "needed" to be replaced or fixed. Some of the things they claimed I needed were things that had recently been changed like my air filter, etc. Plus, it irritated me that they did a once over on the whole car when I just came for a brake inspection. Anyway, the total for JUST the brakes to get redone was something close to $1200 which was way more than I was expecting. I told them to slap the tires back on and I'd deal with the squeaking after I laughed at how much they charged for labor. I ended up going to Midas and got the brakes done for HALF the price.
