Review content:
I was out shopping for my son’s first birthday party and finally found everything I needed. I had several items in my cart one of them a large bag of individually wrapped light up helicopter favors. There were about 4 bags in one area the price on the shelf read $8. None of the bags were priced individually so I assumed they were priced at what the rack stated. I have to be clear that the cashier was very polite and was able to get her manager (Americas) quickly. Here's where it all went downhill. The manager took about 5min trying to find where the bags where located. After I directed her where to go, she came back a while later with the pricing sticker that had been on the rack. She let me know it was the pricing was for a different item. I asked her how much the bag would be she said that she would have to ring them up individually. Which she seemed very bothered by. I had told them I was in a hurry, but by the time she came back, I was already running late. After she rang everything up, I asked if there was any way she could give me a discount; as it was mislabeled and I had spent so much time there. She said that even if she did give me a discount it wouldn’t be much. I told her it was fine, something is something, she refused saying that she just couldn't. She offered to call another Manager. I heard her explain my situation to the other manager saying I wanted a discount ""just because” She was rolling her eyes at the phone and laughing every now and them agreeing with whomever she was speaking to. (I’m assuming laughing at my expense) After her phone call she said that the manager had said “no” and then asked if I wanted the stuff because she was just going to put it back. I have been to Zurchers many times and on my previous purchases have been in the $100 of dollars the purchase I was making was about $94. I was not asking for a hand out or anything for free. But, I can tell you due to your employees and they’re attitude that all customers are crazy, I will not be returning to Zurchers. I will be relaying how great your managers mistreat loyal clientele. I honestly wish that she has been as nice as the cashier at least she wasn’t laughing at me when I asked her for help and she seemed just as appalled as I that her manager was actually laughing with the other manager. \r UPDATE : I received the following Message from Zurchers: \r Dear Claudia,\r \r Thank you for taking the time to inform me of the poor experience you had at our Salt Lake location. I apologize for the way you were treated. Please know that I will be addressing this directly with the store manager. This type of behavior is not tolerated at Zurchers, and we sincerely apologize. If there is anything we can do to make it up to you please do not hesitate to let me know. \r \r Sincerely,\r \r -- \r Nick Zurcher\r Zurchers Discount Party & Wedding Store\r \r **** Yay at least they are listening, I think ill go try West Valley location. Maybe they'll be nicer
