Review content:
I have lived in the Desoto Cedar Hill area since I was 5 years old (now 42) and I have seen many changes. Some good, some not so good. I would like to just give an honest review of some of the business's that keep me believing that my hometown still has wonderful people in it! I help run a 501c3 Non profit dog rescue. We DO NOT like to board our dogs. However, it is necessary sometimes. Melissa Sibley, also having lots of experience in dog rescue, has been so caring in helping me when I am in a pinch and need a place for my rescue babies to lay their heads. We have had dogs in there for a week, 2 weeks, and several months. Depending on how long it takes for them to get adopted or a foster home opens up. Since we hate to board our dogs I try to take some of the stress away and visit OFTEN. I will go visit these dogs 3 to 4 times a week. I let them out to exercise, love on them and bring them treats. I ALWAYS feel welcome and the girls here are THE most caring, loving girls I know in this business. Let me clarify, this is not the only boarding facility we have had to use. One of the top facilities in the Dallas area we use on a regular basis also. As well as one a little further out. I will not name names because I don't believe in damaging a business on just an opinion. Anyway, these girls buy my dogs treats with their own money and love on them, giving them the needed attention a rescue dog always needs as much as they can. I make myself at home here when I go see our dogs. I go back in the back, talk to the kennel staff take my own dogs out bring them back in. I am always welcome. The kennels are always clean and so is the yard. I always know if my boarders are low on food or supplements. They know I have to get the dogs exposure so I am allowed to pick them up on their CLOSED day to take them to the adoption events and bring them back so long as I am there by the time they are leaving. My mom and dad have also boarded and had their dogs groomed here and are always pleased. They have groomed my boarders before the events as well and I am always happy with the results. I cannot say enough good about Melissa and her staff. I love them and I feel so reassured knowing my rescue babies are well cared for and loved at the times I am not able to care for them myself! Thank you ladies 5 stars for you 3>
