I needed two tires and an alignment. I did a ton of research on tires trying to find the highest quality lowest cost tire available, I found a tire on the Firestone website that was inexpensive and had a ton of positive reviews on multiple websites, so I decided on that one obviously! I drove to the Firestone shop near my house and was informed the tires I wanted were out of stock in my size, and IF they could be special ordered it would be another 5 days. I was ready to walk out the door at that point, the next cheapest tire they had in stock was $40 more, I work at a grocery store every dollar counts! The employee ended up discounting the next tire up about $25 each and took $20 off the alignment, so the cost ended up about the same so I ended up with a higher quality tire at a great price. I don't know if this is something they do for everyone or not, but either way it sold me on them as where I'll be buying tires from now on.
