Review content:
I highly recommend Sean Grover as a therapist and as a supervisor. I work in an acute inpatient psychiatric unit in a city hospital, where vicarious and direct trauma and burnout among staff is common. Sean Grover's advice was indispensable when I was recovering from an unprovoked assault by a patient, which resulted in an injury that forced me to take time off and reconsider my career choice. Thanks to Sean's wise, astute, and compassionate guidance, I was able to return to work with a new perspective and better skills with which to help my patients. Had I not consulted with Sean, I would not have recovered as quickly mentally and emotionally, and I am sure that I would have burned out by now. I found Sean to be warm, compassionate, funny, and very highly skilled as a clinician. His help allowed me to transform a traumatic assault by a patient into an opportunity for growth and a deep learning experience. Sean is a great therapist/supervisor.\r \r Cristina Livingstone, LCAT, MS, R-DMT
