Businiess name:  Peninsula Jewish Community Center Preschool

Review content:
PJCC Preschool has made mistakes handing out inconsistent materials regarding fee policy, and they made parents pay for their mistakes. The director kept demanding payment (3 times) before it was due. In addition they worked hard to attempt to remove my review on Yelp. My child has been here for 1.5 years before I decided to transfer him to another preschool. There are several nice teachers, but there are quite a few cold ones who never greet parents or capable of smile, and I once heard one teacher yelled as loud as she could to another teacher (thank god not to a kid) in the multi-purpose room in front of all those kids. There are kids who hit and throw sands to others and they do nothing about it, don't bother to tell parents. I found out a few months ago PJCC accepted a few kids who got kicked out from other preschools for behavior problems. Also heard about kids who got beaten and again school never notified parents. This is a play based preschool so kids don't learn much, and the encirchment classes are during nap-time only. If you have napper the child will never get to attend those classes. Kids are forbidden to wear costume on Halloween. About cost: School plays tricks handing out inconsistent materials for fees. You need to pay up to 3 months of penalty to withdraw. 1 month tuition was non refundable deposit. If you withdraw on the 2nd of the month, you'll be charged for this month plus next month, plus the one month deposit. If you want to downgrade (for example switch from full time to half-day), you lose the difference between the two (since deposit is used for last month's tuition and is non-refundable) no matter what.
