Review content:
They attempted to sell me an unneeded tire because it was not one of theirs. They, via gramatical trickery, convinced me to leave the tires as is.\r \r On 10.29.13 I took my car to the Wentzville, MO location to have the tires rotated and balanced. They refused to do it by claiming that one of the tires, which was not a brand that Dobbs carries, had a bad belt. I took my car to three indepentant shops and they told me that the tire is fine and that Dobbs was just trying to sell me a tire. On 10.30.13 I spoke with Ron at the main office to file my initial complaint. He opted to return my call after he spoke with the General Manager at the Wentzville location. When he called me back his response was just as I expected. He sided with the General Manager and the technitian. Again, I reiterated to Ron, that three other shops verified that the tire is just fine. He stated that I could take my car to another location and they would be glad to do the work. My hypothesis, based upon his offer, is that one shop does not trust another. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, they saw that particular tire, which was not one of theirs, and attempted to take advantage of me via gramatical trickery by trying to sell me an unneeded tire. Especially when they stated that the tread on the tire is fine. Overall, what the employees of the Wentzville, MO. location performed were poor business ethics and bad consumer relations. From this day forward, I will think twice about patronizing Dobbs.\r \r
