If you define your dining experience by the service you get, then this may not be the place for you as I'd say the service ranges from slow to average. Personally though I go out to enjoy the food and the company I'm with. I've always like the food at Platers quite a bit, with the Aztec Pie and Chicken Rigatoni being two of their unique offerings that are both excellent. And despite being crowded, I don't ever recall having to strain to hear the people I'm with talking. So if you're going to be making an evening of it at the Mall, I'd recommend this as a place for dinner, especially on Wednesday nights when you get a free ticket to the comedy club with your meal.
