I had heard that animal eye doctors in Los Angeles charged a lot so I was a bit nervous going to an animal ophthalmologist. My Yorkie did have a deep ulcer and needed surgery. I had scheduled it with animal eye doctor Dr. Silverman. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Silverman felt the eye was better. This veterinary ophthalmologist refused to push me into surgery which was not needed. He was honest with me and treated my dog very well. I am going back to check again next week but it looks like my Yorkie is doing much better because of my careful use of the drops prescribed, and his own healing. This animal eye surgeon is excellent. I am grateful for his truthfulness.\r
