My first time at Nelson J and this will be my LAST! I feel totally robbed from this company. They wasted my time and colored my hair a color I disliked and charged me extra to have it fixed. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE- DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!\r

I asked for my roots to be matched to my current hair color but open for ideas. I had to be at a meeting at 1PM and made it clear I needed to leave by 12:30PM at the latest. My hair dresser, without discussing with me what he was doing and how much it would cost, decided to strip the dark brown from my hair. Before I know it my hair is ORANGE and I have to leave for a business meeting. There was NO way he would finish my hair in time. I ended up leaving with ORANGE hair to this meeting. As embarrassing as that was it only got worse. \r

I was shocked and unpleased to have orange hair and didn't think it could be recovered. He finally dyed it and the color was way too light. I went from a level 1 to a lever 4 or 3! I never told my hair dresser I wanted to be this light! I asked him to dye it again and he did. I tried to be open minded to the change even though I wanted to cry.\r

The real problem is when I discovered how much the cost was. Total was $450 but decided to give me a discount for having me there for so long. I was there for 9 hours!!!!!!!\r

I ended up paying $340. I was DEEPLY annoyed that the majority of my hair cost was due to striping the dark brown from my hair, something I NEVER wanted. I was also told they charged me more to re-dye my hair even though I wasn't happy with it.\r

I felt robbed and lied too. I left crying and upset. I would never recommend this place. Its full of people that want to make a quick buck and don't personally care about their clients.
