Review content:
alright...to be fair, i never actually made it inside; so it could be decent once you get through the international-airport-style line...but my friends and i, all well-dressed attractive folks and ON THE GUEST LIST mind you, were so unbelievably offended by the way the bouncers handled not only ourselves but the other patrons that we couldn't bring ourselves to go in and instead left for another venue. first we were YELLED AT for stepping a few inches too far to one side of an imaginary line created by the bouncer in the first of the three line-sections required to enter the bar; we then were accused of "ruining HIS night" for not knowing about said imaginary line and being better skilled at the whole line-waiting thing. we get to the second of the three sections and a portion of our group (again, ON the guest list) is held back while the rest pass to the next level, and we are stuck there for 15 minutes while the 3 bouncers huff cigar smoke in our faces and gripe about all the people trying to get into the bar like our very existence is putting them out...time to find alternate employment? finally we progress to the last portion of the line, already deeply offended and soured on the whole experience, and while one bouncer is frisking another customer airport-style (arms spread, etc) a friend who is having her purse and personal items dug through by another employee is told that if she wants to enter the premises she'll have to relinquish her cigarettes, lighter, and pens and pencils also found in the bag. This was the last straw. being condescended and scolded like kindergarteners is one thing, but who wants to be in an establishment where it is assumed that the customers will use their writing utensils as weapons? again, i can't say that it's not a decent place once you're inside, but i for one will never find out because no incentives or apologies could ever persuade me to give another chance to a place that allows its customers to be treated this way.
Pros: nada
Cons: deplorable treatment of soon-to-be customers
