Review content:
Our experience at Roberts of Portland has been horrible. Sadly, they did not stand behind the 100% guarantee they advertise on their website. My daughter's hair was ruined by Roberts of Portland by a series of hair color treatments, causing her to lose at least 10 inches of length and left her with overall thinning and bald spots. \r \r Because this damage was a result of monthly color treatments (each time going a lighter shade of blonde) over 5 appointments as suggested by the stylist, the damage was cumulative and not immediate. The process was recommended by the stylist to achieve the desired result with the least amount of damage. The stylist was wrong. My daughter's hair is ruined.\r \r Despite calling and sending emails to Roberts of Portland, we were told, by the owner Rob, that Roberts of Portland would not honor their guarantee because too much time had elapsed. Rob suggested that perhaps my daughter did the damage to her own hair after her last appointment. When I initially contacted Rob, I was not asking for anything EXCEPT for his help in getting my daughter through this awful time - perhaps extensions or a good haircut and color. However, Rob refused to meet with us or view the before and after photos I had made available. Very Disappointing - Rob does not realize what this has done to a teenage girl's self esteem - or perhaps, he simply does not care.\r
