Review content:
My son received treatment at Bright Now Dental in Eastvale, California for a chipped tooth he received by taking a ground ball to the face during a baseball game. During the visit, we advised them that chipped his tooth during a baseball game in which a ground ball took a bad hop and struck him in the mouth. We were later advised By Bright Now Dental that our insurance wouldn't cover any of the cost of treatment because my son had no decay at his chipped tooth prior to treatment. We ended up paying $185.00 for a filling. The next day, I contacted my agent from our insurance company and advised him of my situation. I was then told that if we first contacted our primary care physician and received a referral, the treatment would of been covered. The agent from our insurance company contacted Bright Now Dental to inquire why it wasn't covered. He was then advised him that the treatment wouldn't be covered because we told him that it was for cosmetic purposes only, not from an injury. Now why would I say that? My son is 11 years old, complaining of sensitivity pain to his teeth from a chipped tooth caused by a baseball hitting him in the mouth. He isn't aware of cosmetic concerns at his age. That isn't even close to the truth. I spoke with Maria in billing and she immediately became confrontational and advised me to read my insurance manuel. She wasn't professional or helpful at all, just wanted to get me off the phone. I then spoke with the supervisor, Sergio Robles, who later hung up on me after I advised him of my unhappy service and that we would no longer be patients at Bright Now Dental. The customer service there is unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend this dentist to anyone. They won't go the extra mile and help you out as a patient. This place treats you like its a Vegas wedding and are only concerned with quantity of patients, not quality of service. In my opinion they don't care about your needs on theirs.
