Review content:
I was recently in SLC and Susie @ Little America sent me to the Globe Cafe by Moonlight. Upon entering, the romantic post-modern setting took me by surprise, especially since I was alone. But Chad (one of the managers) seated me in a comfy booth, and any doubts drifted away after the first 'Orient Express' martini. Rich, my waiter, was friendly and very well-informed. He suggested I start with the agnolotti and I wasn't sorry. Smooth as silk, I wished I'd ordered one to go. The lamb riblets on matzah balls was falling-apart tender. The catfish entree was astounding. Dessert a slightly sweet apricot semifreddo with glaceed apricots that was sheer heaven. Wines by the glass were well-priced and the way to go for one person. Rich's suggestions were flawless. Only, next time I go, I'm calling a friend! Pros: GREAT service!!!, Never ate better, excuse to visit SLC Cons: no Globe in LA
