I went here for my hair and pedicure for a lot of years, my husband and two teenagers went also. If you are looking for experts then you went in the wrong door. The teachers watch and check their students work. I was very satisfied. If you want experienced staff, then I recommend a much higher $$ buisness. The teachers do keep a close eye on what is going on and they are very gifted. I do know I have many times gone to the high $$ hair and nail places since I've moved away from n. kc and been very annoyed with the results for double and triple the bill.
I recommend folk give it ago, try on something small and build up your confidence.
