Kaiser Morse:They failed to provide testing and injections of growth hormones that could have saved my baby's life. When I went in to be checked for the 7th or 8th time in a month after being told I was just dehydrated and no one listening to my concerns, during a pelvic exam that should never have been performed, they stated they did not have the right sized speculum in a DELIVERY department, then accidentally inserted the WRONG sized speculum into my UNdialated cervix, dialating it and breaking my water so that my son was born just barely too premature to live. If they hadn't broken my water, or had administered the growth hormone to develop my son's lungs early, he would have had a good shot at survival as he was normal and healthy and I was not in labor at the time. Thanks to their resolution agreements, you cannot hold Kaiser responsible for over 100k even in a wrongful death case, THEY pay the arbitrators, and you cannot get a lawyer to help you for a % of 100k when they could try the same case in the courts for a % of millions. And you have to PAY to file a claim, PAY for your medical records, and pay 1000's up front for medical experts or your claim will not even get past the preliminary hearing. Nice huh? Not to mention they lied in my medical reports that I paid to obtain stating that when I arrived I was in active labor with my son's feet and buttocks presenting in the birth cannal. When I was monitored and NOT in labor, and NOT dialated UNTIL they messed up. In addition, since it is a teaching hospital, as my son was being born into almost certain death, the Dr in training was hurting me and holding me open for dozens of other Drs in training to come and inspect, like a science project. And when I left they had the complete lack of empathy in making me exit via the waiting room where new parents pick up their babies. I'd rather deliver ALONE in an IGLOO and BITE the umbilical cord next time rather than be seen there again. Pros: Nothing Cons: Read review!
