Review content:
I brought my foster dog, Mercy, to this hospital. She was given to me by the rescue I volunteer for, and she had just been spayed about 4 weeks ago. I noticed her scar was getting bumpy and red, so I took her to Bellport Animal Hospital. The doctor was stern at first, as he said her stitches should have been taken out weeks ago (I wasn't told that- thought they were dissolvable!). When I explained she was my foster dog and I would have brought her IMMEDIATELY if I had known she needed care, he comped me the visit and was very kind. His sternness was a reflection of how much he cared about the animal he had only just met, and his kindness shone through. Mercy is much better now and ready to go to her forever home as healthy as she deserves to be, all thanks to the staff at Bellport Animal Hospital! Pros: Caring Staff
