Review content:
I recently had a pet emergency with my 5 year old dog. I called the Auburn Vet Hospital at 845 am on Saturday and much like the other reviewers I was only able to recieve information regarding a paymet that would have to be made. When I orignially called it was a basic $65.00 fee and I would have to be there in the next hour or I would have to make an appointment with the regular hour Vet and that may take days. I didn't have days so I said I will be right down. I live less than 5 minutes away.......so I was right down. I rang the door bell and waited outside in the cold for many minutes. A dull whitted girl comes to the door and acts suprised to see me. She tells me she will ask if the vet is willing to see me and much like the wizard of oz she shuts the door on my face and leaves me and my sick dog outside. She returns and gifts me with the information that the fine doctor will service my dog....A SERVICE THEY MARKET AS THIER CHOSEN JOB! I wait a long time and then a strange vet comes in and makes me feel like I am a bad pet owner. He then provides me with a $500 quote and in a state of panic and self doubt I sign over my life. I then realize that the 65 fee is now 85 and that if I would have waited an hour I could have been seen fast and not paid any after hours fee. My dof is now on the mend but this was not a great experience!!\r \r Pros: they were open Cons: service and price and smell!
