Review content:
This review pertains to The Oak Room Restaurant. Our experience there was disappointing to put it mildly. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks and the cosmos weren't served with the usual shaker being brought to the table. While appetizers and salads were served in a more timely fashion, we waited 45 minutes for our dinners to arrive after the salads were served. Then, some of the potatoes were cold and hardly cooked. We spoke to the manager who couldn't have cared less about our experience. The occasion was our mother's 92nd birthday. They did serve her a wonderful dessert for which we were not charged and our waiter was gracious. Drink prices were outrageous--a Makers and water was $10, a double Crown and water was $16.50. We won't go back.
