Excellent Excellent Excellent...........................\r I am not sure about the other review below me but I have had several wonderful experiences at the "under new ownership" Barley Pop. I used to go to the establishmnet often a little over 5-6-7 years ago - but then it began to go seriously downhill - we hadn't been there again until recently.\r \r 1) We have purchased the "Sirloin Special" on Thursday night - and it was nice to see that although it had increased in price from the old 4.95 of 6-7 years ago to $6.95 - I think the cut was nicer and it was prepared very well. The "Friday Fish-Fry" (all you can eat) was superb. $8.95 was all it cost for Two large pieces of fish - lightly breaded and the oil they used kept it light and crispy. Not to mention the great potato pancakes you can add (x2) for just 50 cents.\r \r 2) The new young woman in charge that greeted us as well as everyone else at their table those nights was a refreshing change for the pub.
