I've been going to Ikea since they opened. I have finally found my shopping Mecca - forget Nordstrom - I LOVE IKEA!
Great for kids, great for kids who like to destroy things, and great for good stuff that's priced inexpensively. Over the years I've found their one-off items that they occasionally offer. Those are the items that they don't have in the catalog, that they buy in small quantity to test out their suppliers. GREAT unusual stuff, even for Ikea standards. People are surprised when I tell them that almost all of my furniture and home dec items come from Ikea (and one wool Persian rug from Iraq!).
My kids love it, I love it, and I even have the Ingmar bobblehead, I'm such an Ikea junkie.
